GENERALS LEAD
We are excited to announce the creation of 5 new LEADERship classes at TNHS for the 2017-2018 school year. These classes are a significant commitment to the idea that GENERALS LEAD as we have allocated nearly a full-time teaching position to developing capacity of student LEADERs. The classes occur every day and build student capacity to LEARN & LEAD within our community.
These classes include
- The Student Organization Council
- Consists of 30 student organization representatives from organizations and teams around the school.
- House Steward Courses
- Consists of 35 House Stewards from each house working to create the future in our Care & Connect time each morning.
- Community Directors
- Consists of five specialized roles ranging from Director of Community Affairs to Community Service & Alumni Affairs Directors.
- General LEADERs
- Consisting of nearly fifty seniors LEADing during the course of the day by assisting classroom LEADERs with academic supports throughout the day.
- Maintenance & Cafeteria LEADERs
- Consisting of student LEADERs that collaborate with our food services programs and our maintenance LEADER Mr. Marshall.
